Tissue Spears

Tissue Spears introduces an ear-care activity through three interactive modules. Follow the guidance on screen, try each part and practise the steps in a virtual learning environment.

Start with handwashing. Learn the correct steps and put them into practice through an interactive activity. Next, learn how to make a tissue spear from a tissue. The final module guides you through using it correctly, with an activity to practise what you have learned.

Families, educators and ear health workers can explore the modules with children and talk through each step together. The activity supports learning; follow your ear health worker's advice about whether tissue spears are appropriate and how to use them for your child's ear care.
